Getting Back to Business: The Challenges & Opportunities – AfBAA

Aug 12, 2020 2:00 pm

Africa’s Business and General Aviation industry is gradually picking up after being severely hit by the global pandemic.  Key issues now facing most operators and service providers include the continued lockdown in certain markets, low customer demand, safety, training, more expensive funding and insurance, as well as legal challenges.

These and other matters will be covered by leading members of AfBAA during its international Webinar on Wednesday, 12th August, 2020.

The African Business Aviation Association (AfBAA) was established in 2012 as a not-for-profit organisation that fosters increased knowledge and understanding of business aviation in Africa, and promotes the tangible benefits that Business Aviation can contribute to Africa’s economic development and prosperity.

In 2018, AfBAA widened its remit to include both Business and General Aviation in Africa.  This has significantly expanded and strengthened AfBAA’s footprint on the continent and has firmly positioned it as the official Voice of Business and General Aviation in Africa.

AfBAA’s aim is to promote Business and General Aviation as a positive tool for economic development in Africa that is valued and supported by African Governments, Civil Aviation Authorities and aviation industry stakeholders throughout Africa.
